(Patrice J Sauve), (Chicken Fat Rice lol), has been an active dj and event producer for over 15 years. With roots based in House, Dub and Downtempo, Patrice is eclectic by nature. Performing and working over a decade at festivals such as Astral Harvest (10 yrs), Kootenanny (12 yrs), Shambhala (3 yrs), Odyssey Gathering (4yrs), Reign Bough Fiddle, Flying Canoe Volant (4yrs), Terra Viva, North Country Fair (5 yrs), and Motion Notion (5 yrs).

Over the past 14 years, he has developed a deep relationship with many Western Canadian Event Production Crews such as THC (Techno Hippy Crew), GOMP (Grumpy Old Men Productions), InAHome Productions, Trancecore, ZionnoiZ – Terra Viva, and is a founding active member of Wheelhouse Productions; giving him a very diverse and dynamic viewpoint of the “underground” music scene.

He brings vast music and sound experience and a true love for connection with people during performances with a wide spectrum in event planning, stage design, professional sound management and an evolving studio production foundation for future releases. Joy One has shared stages with artists like Adham Shaikh, Lion-S, Hoola, Blue Lunar Monkey, Rob Garza, Pumpkin, Everyman, Delhi 2 Dublin, Longwalkshortdock, Neighbour, Kaminanda, Desert Dwellers, Phutureprimitive, Freddy J, Govinda, Slink, John Glassy, Senseless Live, Psychemagik, and many more. In 2011 he co-released a sound therapy and meditation album with Shylo Love (Kilonova) and Haley Love called Sound Love Alchemy – Chakra Balancing Solfeggio Frequencies which continues to receive 5 star reviews.

He is now busy producing his own unique flavour of house, world, dub and bass music in the same alternate tuning, merging healing frequencies and music to dance, feel and heal with. “Can you feel it! Like I feel It!”
